What a GREAT Time we had down in Wilkes-Barre, PA. We played a double-nighter,
met some new friends, and enjoyed the Renaissance Fair on Saturday. And, to
our surprise, Kitty, Victoria, and Friends came to Murray's Inn to see us
Saturday night. Victoria is a GREAT violin/fiddle player and joined us in
Seven Bridges Road - played in bluegrass style. She then did a solo ditty on
her electric violin on stage with us and the place loved it! Don't they look
GREAT in our black Spread Eagle Tee-Shirts??? Hey, how about that
desert-scene backdrop behind us - pretty cool, huh?
Well, we hope to be back down that way again in
upcoming months. We had a blast. We hope Murray's did too! Our thanks to
Chuck the Sound Engineer, Hooper our light man, and to Carolyn and her
Fiance for booking us into Slainte! Good luck to you both on making the
place a great place to eat, drink, and be entertained!

The Eagles have finished touring the east coast on their Farewell-I tour,
and they’ve moved on to the west coast now. Spread Eagle had a blast while
out on the Eagles Concert Ticket Give Away Tour 2005 where we were able to
play in cities along the East Coast in advance of The Eagles, giving away
GREAT concert tickets along the way! Spread Eagle wasn't able to play in
Wilkes-Barre during our Ticket Give Away Tour, but we've been asked to
perform at Slainte! in Wilkes-Barre because customers there loved The Eagles
concert so much.
We're swoopin’ in on The Slainte! (formerly
Murray’s Inn)
in to do just that! It’s our first time into Slainte!, and we’re excited; we
hope you are too! Slainte! is a great place to have a dinner, and then dance
the evening away to all the songs The Eagles made so popular.
FRIDAY NIGHT – It’s going to be a ‘concert-style show’
done in two long sets just like the Eagles concert a few months back right
here in Wilkes-Barre. Plus, you will get to hear songs the Eagles don’t do
live any more!
SATURDAY NIGHT – we’ll be presenting our ‘feature show’
where we open with early Eagles, we leave stage, and in theatrical fashion,
we come back and perform the Hotel California album start to finish. We'll
then play the night out with the later Eagles and all that great solo stuff
from Henley, Frey and Walsh.
Come on out for a night of great music as Spread Eagle
serves up a double-night dose of Eagles music you’ll not soon forget. Mark
your calendars! Gather up your friends, and bring them all to Slainte!
